OneSchool Global Timaru is excited to offer a new part-time position for a Student Support Assistant (SSA) to join our innovative and supportive school community.

About the Role

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to support our primary students, fostering their learning and personal growth. This is a great opportunity to work in a modern educational environment with a collaborative team of dedicated professionals.

• Location: Timaru Campus
• Hours: 18 hours per week 0.45FTE
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
  (We are open to flexibility! For the right candidate, hours could be adjusted to 9:00 am – 2:30 pm.)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting primary students with their learning and classroom activities.
• Providing tailored support to help students achieve their educational goals.
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.
• Collaborating with teachers to ensure students thrive academically and socially.

What We’re Looking For

• A friendly, patient, and approachable individual who loves working with children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting students and staff.
• Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
