Campus Student Support Assistant (Maungaturoto)

Are you passionate about supporting students in their learning journey? OneSchool Global NZ is seeking a dedicated Student Support Assistant (Teacher Aide) at our Maungaturoto Campus. This role could be primary or secondary based depending on experience of the successful applicant. The Ideal candidate will also have previous experience with high needs learning support student or high needs behavioral support in either setting.

About the Role:

• Work with a small group of students and on an individual basis throughout the day.
• Support students with their independent learning across a range of subjects.
• Assist in keeping students engaged, motivated, and on track with their learning goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure the best support strategies are in place.

What We’re Looking For:

• A caring and patient approach with a passion for helping students succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic and patient approach to their support 
• Ability to work independently while following structured learning plans.
• Previous experience in education or student support is an advantage but not essential.

Role Details:

• Hours: 20 hours per week, starting at 8:30 am (Day to be negotiated).
• Start Date: As soon as possible.
• Fixed Term Contract until 12th December 2025, with possibility to be renewed. 
• Location: OneSchool Global NZ, Maungaturoto Campus.
