About the role

We’re on the hunt for a talented Internal Communications/ Employee Engagement Specialist to join our vibrant People Experience team (aka Human Resources!) This is a part-time role based in Sydney (however other locations will be considered) working 15 hours per week ideally across 3 days per week (Wednesday is a must) initially until December 2025.

 

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, People Experience, you'll take charge of delivering impactful internal communications, producing engaging virtual events, and maintaining our company intranet. Your efforts will support PICA Group’s commitment to clear communication and transparency.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with stakeholders to design impactful communications that align with key objectives, ensuring updates are timely, accurate, and circulated effectively utilising different tools to keep everyone in the loop.
  • Prepare engaging, educational, and informative written communications for our diverse internal audiences.
  • Maintain and enhance the People Experience pages on the company intranet (Sharepoint), ensuring digital content adheres to brand guidelines and is organised effectively to make searching and sharing information easy
  • Create engaging visuals for online content utilising Canva and/or other tools.
  • Own and execute campaigns aligned with our 2025 Cultural Calendar to drive employee participation and inclusion
  • Plan and produce virtual events including town hall meetings, educational webinars, and internal presentations.
  • Collaborate with external partners to promote partner offers and events including webinars, wellbeing programs, new offers, and more
  • Create and deploy internal employee surveys

 

You are:

  • Proficient in Canva or similar graphic design programs to create eye-catching visuals.
  • Skilled in creating content for SharePoint and keeping information fresh and organised
  • Capable of developing and deploying employee surveys utilising Survey Monkey or similar, and translating data into actionable insights
  • Experienced in producing virtual meetings and digital events, preferably using Microsoft Teams.
  • Adept at crafting clear, concise and impactful written communications
  • A relationship-builder who loves collaborating with others
