About the Campus
The OneSchool Global Mt Victoria Campus is nestled atop a mountain plateau, conveniently on the Great Western Highway. As the westernmost village in the region, it is perfectly positioned to serve the upper mountains and Lithgow. The campus boasts a unique charm that complements its mountainous surroundings. Our advanced facilities and vibrant learning spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art educational technology, creating an innovative and future-proof learning environment. With a total of 89 students from Years 3 through 12, the campus offers an intimate and personalized educational experience.

About the opportunity
We are seeking an Assistant Campus Principal at our Mt Victoria Campus, accountable to both the Campus Principal and the Campus Administration (CA) team. The primary objective of this position is to ensure that OneSchool Global Australia's vision, values, policies, and strategy are upheld to the highest standards. 

As the Assistant Campus Principal you will work in support of the Campus Principal to lead Campus staff, students, and stakeholders strategically and operationally to achieve the highest possible standards in teaching and learning, student achievement, quality, compliance, and governance. You will be a highly visible member of the leadership team, building positive, firm, and fair relationships with all stakeholders. Additionally, you will be able to deputise for the Campus Principal at any time.

This is a dual role, combined with a 0.5 English teaching load. This full time, permanent position will commence in January 2025. 

About you
Ideally, you will have leadership experience or be ready to take that next step into a leadership position. You must have an excellent understanding of the 3-12 curriculum. A capacity and willingness to build and manage positive working relationships (High Performing teams), and experience in implementing and leading digital technology professional learning for staff and students.

You will have an English Teaching background, and you will be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices, to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing and online resources. Candidates will need to be a NESA Registered teacher, have a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus. We seek a driven and highly collaborative leader with strong stakeholder management skills and a keen interest in being part of a global organisation. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Deputise for the Campus Principal when absent/off-campus
  • Campus Wellbeing mentorship 
  • Wellbeing program management 
  • Collaborate with the Campus Principal when working with the Senior Leadership Team 
  • Work with the Campus Principal on MAP/scheduling/strategies to increase growth
  • General day to day cover as needed/Running of exams
  • Teach English classes year 7-12
