Medical - Nurse - Mt Hutt

Mt Hutt are looking to employ Nurses for our on mountain Medical Centre. The position runs from June to October.
About the Role
- you will provide medical treatment for guests and staff on-site (both paediatric and adult trauma cases) at our Ski Area Medical Centre
- your day to day won’t be the same when you work at our Ski Area, but you can expect that you will regularly be involved with delivering acute medical care in a professional and compassionate manner and encouraging and maintaining an environment which promotes quality service delivery and safety for all patients and staff
About You
- have at least two years' of experience (or equivalent) as a registered nurse in an Emergency Department
- hold a current annual practicing certificate
- has knowledge of the New Zealand health system, particularly ACC
- is comfortable working in an alpine environment in a variety of weather conditions
- has a good knowledge of ski area snow conditions, and the ability to ski or snowboard in all weather is an advantage, however not a requirement
Skill and Qualifications
- holds current medical indemnity insurance
- hold Core Advanced Certificate (issued within the past 3 years)
- holds a current triage certificate
- holds a IV Cannulation Certificate
