About this role

We are recruiting for two positions.

  • One full-time permanent 
  • One 6 month Fixed-Term role under the Parental Leave and Employment Protection (Paid Parental Leave) Amendment Act 2002. 

As part of the Integrated Planning & Development team, your role will be to provide a customer oriented and responsive approach to the cross organisational delivery of business support services. The Integrated Planning & Development team is responsible for the functions of building, resource consents, and land information memorandums.

  • experience using outlook, word, excel
  • excellent keyboard skills including speed and accuracy

Desirable

  • Knowledge of, or familiarity with processes associated with legislation and/or the statutory processes related to the Local Government regulatory framework (such as: Building Act, Resource Management Act, Local Government Act)
  • If you have experience in administering resource consent or building consent applications this would be an advantage, however full training will be provided
  • You will have the ability to remain calm under pressure, a good sense of humour and enjoy the rewards of working in a busy and demanding environment as an individual and as part of a dynamic team.
