About the job:
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to grow the Auckland water business in our construction sector.
Your aim in this role will be to secure opportunities for business outside of our existing client base and develop relationships further with current clients and subcontractors to enhance the opportunities available to Citycare Water.
Day-to-day you will price and manage construction projects including coordination and management of resources, within budgeted cost structures, meeting contractual requirements and project specifications as agreed on with the client.
Success in this role will be measured through increased satisfaction of existing and new clients and achieving revenue and margin growth as budgeted from projects. Being an excellent communicator and influencer with the ability to build strong relationships is crucial.

What you’ll need:
- It is essential that you have extensive experience (5+ years) in the management of large complex projects and dealing with clients and subcontractors.
- An appropriate qualification (Diploma or Degree) in Engineering or Project management or equivalent Project Management experience is a must!
- You will have knowledge around budgeting, reporting, business systems, business improvement, Health & Safety and staff management.
- Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to specifications.
- Being IPENZ accredited is advantageous but not essential.
All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
