From our restaurant Mr. Tompkins to Ms. Ava bar in the one-of-a-kind Grand Vestibule. These outlets complement our 340-guest room and 11 conference, wedding and event spaces including the recently refurbished King Edward Ballroom.
The hotel overlooks the Yarra River and boasts a prime location in the heart of the central business district that’s well suited for both business and leisure
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement hotel-wide strategies that deliver products and services to exceed the needs and expectations of guests and guests and provide a return on investment to the owner and TFE hotels
- Manage and implement the brand service strategy and brand initiatives
- Providing strategic leadership, playing a crucial role in guiding the property towards sustained success and growth.
- Responsible for setting the strategic direction and vision under a Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) with owner reporting.
- Present monthly reporting package to the ownership team,
- Ensure the delivery of an exceptional Food and Beverage product and service that exceeds our guests’ needs including strong understanding of regulations and compliance requirements within the hospitality industry including liquor licensing, workplace health and safety standards, food safety regulations, and employment laws. Ability to ensure all operations adhere to these standards to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
- Knowledge of Hospitality Industry General Award (HIGA), including its classifications, allowances, and conditions. Familiarity with the award's application. Ability to ensure all operations adhere to these standards to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
Now, let's talk about you:
- A visionary leader with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience managing a complex, medium to large-scale CBD property (300+ rooms) with on property F&B and C&E.
- Previous experience in managing and driving the on-property sales and marketing team.
- Proven results in developing and delivering C&E strategies and standalone F&B outlets.
- Experience working in Melbourne (desirable)
- Demonstrated achievements in delivering growth results in hotels and driving revenue
- Previous experience working in a centralised hotel management model
- Experienced in owner engagement, monthly reporting and strong understanding of HMA’s.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in revenue management and driving top line sales
- Have an eye for detail and an analytical mind reviewing and compiling of financial reports and overall day-to-day financial processes
- An inspirational leader managing teams, building culture and working with regional peers.
- With a proven track record of developing and leading several head of departments, you bring a wealth of experience to the table.
- Previous experience with projects and management of a refurbishments
- High standard of attention to detail and strong communication (written & verbal)
- Excellent personal presentation
