The Campus
The OneSchool Global Illawarra Campus is in Darkes Forest, nestled amongst dense bushland and surrounded by rural properties. The campus boasts wide open spaces and state-of-the-art facilities. Our learning spaces are vibrant and integrated with the latest educational technology to support the ability to teach in a future-proof innovative space. With a total of 149 students across both primary and secondary, the Campus offers that small school atmosphere.
The Opportunity:
Our welcoming Illawarra Campus is seeking a Campus Student Support Assistant to join our team on a fixed term maternity cover contract, commencing at the end of February until the end of Term 3, 2025. This is a full-time position, Ideally, we are seeking someone with experience working with students with cognitive, physical, sensory and social-emotional disabilities.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have a Certificate IV in Education Support (with previous experience desirable), or Certificate III in Education Support with recent relevant experience. You will be skilled in working one-on-one with a student with a disability to enable full participation in classroom and education activities, liaising efficiently with classroom teachers and campus learning support teachers, and maintaining accurate learning records. A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for this role.
