About The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Storeperson is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely management of the site warehouse inventory on a daily basis across out Gunnedah Open Cut sites. This role is a permanent position, 9 day fortnight. 

What You’ll Do

• Comply with the Health and Safety Management System and Plans, legislative requirements, and safety instructions and directions, contributing to the company goal of “zero harm”
• Secure management of site inventory including parts, components and Critical spares
• Day to day communication with the labour provider for yardsperson / ASG Hose Technicians
• Interfacing with maintenance planners regarding staging of parts for maintenance events
• Accurate and timely processing of deliveries

What You’ll Bring

• High Risk Forklift Certification (Required)
• Qualification in supply chain management and logistics (Preferred)
• Business Improvement Skills and Qualifications, e.g. Lean Six Sigma (Preferred)
• Hands on experience in a large warehouse operation with a sound understanding of all facets of inventory control
• A strong level of commercial acumen and understanding
