Your Role:

The Manager of Asset Operations Whitehaven, provides asset operations support to site teams, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely. This role leads a skilled team to deliver continuous improvement, operational excellence and optimisation of our assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support site maintenance teams to optimise asset performance to achieve operational targets and efficiency.
• Oversee the efficient delivery of Long-Term Planning and Maintenance Strategy support.
• Lead the Off-Site Repairs and Tyre Management teams, ensuring cost, delivery and quality targets are met.
• Work closely with OEM’s and key suppliers to ensure a site operational support needs are met.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of professionals, cultivating a strong safety culture.
• Develop and implement operational strategies in line with organisational goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor performance metrics and lead initiatives for improvement.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including community and regulatory bodies.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in asset management or operations within the mining or resources sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mining, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Mining industry
