About The Role

Gunnedah Basin Haulage (GBH) is looking for MC Drivers to haul coal from our Vickery and Tarrawonga mines to our Coal Handling Preparation Plant in Gunnedah. The ideal candidate either resides in or is willing to relocate to the Gunnedah region (assistance provided). You’ll enjoy work life balance as we don’t operate on public holidays, and you’re home every night! Shift patterns include Monday-Friday rotating mornings & afternoons. Day weeks include a Saturday shift where you’ll enjoy a higher pay rate.

What You’ll Do

• Completion of daily paperwork
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and organisational culture
• Hauling coal to and from our Tarrawonga & Vickery mines and our Coal Handling and Processing Plant (CHPP) in Gunnedah (distance of approx. 85kms in total)
• Operating Scania A Doubles Side Tippers - automatic
• Working rotating morning and afternoon shifts (Monday to Friday) | Fortnightly Saturday shift (off the back of Days)

What You’ll Bring

• Live local to the Gunnedah area or ability to relocate to the beautiful Gunnedah region
• Ability to work 8.5hr days, 10hr afternoons, and fortnightly 10.5hr Saturday shifts
• Experience working on mine sites or heavy industry is advantageous 
• Experience with side or rear tipping preferred all training provided)
• A current MC Driver’s License and be able to provide a current RMS driving record
• Ability to undertake and meet the requirements of a NSW Coal Board Medical
