About The Role
An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Project Manager - Housing to join our team. This role can be based in Sydney, Newcastle or Gunnedah. Regular travel to the Gunnedah region will be required.

Reporting to the GM – Operations Commercial this role is accountable for executing the housing development strategy to acquire, development and maintain housing for the Whitehaven workforce.

What You’ll Do

• Implementation of the WHC housing strategy
• Property development oversight – project management of housing developments from planning through to construction.
• Contract and contractor management of the housing development capital budget and invoicing
• Capital planning for the development and renovation of housing
• Proactively manage costs by conducting regular reconciliations of expenditure against budget, as well as cost reviews to identify risks and opportunities within area of responsibility

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management or Contract Management working in the residential construction industry
• Experience managing budgets
• Proven understanding of legal and statutory requirements and obligations in the administration of contracts and housing developments
• Experience with NSW regulatory environments
