About This Role
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Maintenance Fitter), you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our 26 Scania A-doubles are well-maintained and safe on the road. We offer the flexibility of a 3-panel roster, the ideal candidate will either reside in the Gunnedah Region or be open to relocating to the area.
 
What You'll Do

• Perform all required repairs and maintenance on our Scania A-doubles
• Work autonomously to meet production targets and deadlines
• Showcase a commitment to safety with visible safe work practices and adherence to JSA protocols
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to complete work orders effectively

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a heavy diesel mechanic, with expertise in maintaining heavy vehicles and trailers
• Experience with Scania trucks (a bonus, but not essential!)
• Relevant trade qualifications and hands-on industry experience.
• A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork.  
• A Current Drivers License
