Administration Assistant – Intensive Family Preservation

- Work Days: Must be available on Tuesdays and across Monday and/or Wednesday (flexibility to work across 2 or 3 days)

Join our Intensive Family Preservation (IFP) program as an Administration Officer, providing vital support to a passionate team dedicated to strengthening families and keeping children safe at home. Your ability to identify gaps and respond to challenges will ensure the team can focus on delivering critical services to families in need.
About you in the Role
As an Administration Officer, you’ll be the backbone of our IFP program, ensuring smooth operations by handling essential administrative tasks and supporting caseworkers in the field. Your role will include:
• Reception & Liaison: Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, liaising with service providers and contractors.
• Administrative Support: taking meeting minutes, preparing documents, data entry and supporting financial processes.
• Event & Meeting Coordination: Setting up and scheduling meetings, booking travel, and organizing program-related events.
• Fleet & Safety Management: Overseeing program vehicles, processing logbooks, and ensuring team safety while caseworkers are in the field.
• Office Management: Maintaining office systems and handling general administrative duties as required.
What you need to succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels and de-escalate difficult interactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
• A collaborative mindset—able to work independently and within a team.
• A valid NSW Employee Working with Children’s Check.
Even Better
• A Certificate III in Business Administration.
• Experience working in a not-for-profit organization.
