Seeking a Full-Time contract NDIS Support Coordinator to work across our office sites in North Parramatta, Leichhardt, and Campbelltown sites as required until April 2026.

 

About the Opportunity

  • This is a full-time contract (maternity leave coverage) opportunity working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday until 24 April 2026
  • Flexibility to work from home WFH twice a week
  • Work from our North Parramatta, Leichhardt or Campbelltown sites as required nearest to the client’s place (travel reimbursed)
  • Starting from SCHADS 4.1 $43.08 per hour (depending on experience) plus salary packaging up to $18,550 plus Super


About the Role:

  • Assist participants in exploring and selecting mainstream, community, advocate, and NDIS provider options.
  • Support participants with MyID account setup, NDIS Portal navigation, service negotiations, and establishing service agreements.
  • Negotiate services and pricing for quotable supports based on participant decisions.
  • Arrange assessments to determine necessary funding (e.g., complex home modifications).
  • Liaise with Plan Managers on funding, support types, and payments.
  • Connect participants to relevant mainstream and community services (e.g., housing, education, transport, health).
  • Enhance participants' capacity to coordinate, self-manage, and participate in their community, including resolving issues, understanding service agreements, and making changes as needed.

What you need to succeed:

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or higher tertiary qualifications in disability/community services/social sciences/allied health and equivalent knowledge/experience.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of the NDIS Code of Conduct
  • Knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Act 2013 and rules
  • Sound understanding of the complex needs of people with disability and their families/ nominees/authorised representatives.
  • Experience of effective and contemporary disability support models.
  • Experience in developing and implementing person-centred approaches that support people to build their capacity for choice and control over their own lives
  • Proven ability to establish active partnerships and achieve common desired outcomes with communities and other organisations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and client database systems.
  • Excellent report writing, time management and record-keeping skills.


Even Better:

  •  Fluency in a language other than English.
  •  Experience in working with First Nations communities and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Mandatory prerequisite to employment requirements:

  • Current driver's licence and willingness to use own or private vehicle (with relevant insurances) for work-related travel.
  • NSW Working with Children Check (Service NSW)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Service NSW)
  • National Criminal Record Check
