Located in Hurstville, one of Sydney’s most vibrant and multicultural suburbs, Travelodge Hotel Hurstville Sydney adjoins Club Central Hurstville, an establishment that offers a wide range of facilities, including restaurants, bars, entertainment and conference spaces. The hotel offers 124 guest rooms with a refreshingly simple design.
About the role:

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee the daily operations and performance of the hotel including all departments and team members
- Drive maximum Net RevPAR, and work closely with the Regional Revenue Manager on setting revenue strategies
- Property developments and improvements are planned, CAPEX documents prepared and communicated with owners and stakeholders
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting across the various departments, in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare and review budgets and forecasts
- Partner with Sales, Revenue and Marketing, to build an annual business plan and actively monitor and revise it based on hotel performance
About You:
- Experience as a Hotel General Manager, with in the hospitality industry managing a similar size property.
- Exceptional financial acumen.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, including revenue management, front office, maintenance, food and beverage, and CAPEX.
- Demonstrated achievements in delivering growth results in hotels and driving revenue.
- Previous experience working in a centralised hotel management model.
- Experience in owner/stakeholder relationships with strong negotiation skills.
- An inspirational leader managing teams, building culture and developing talent pipelines.
- High standards of attention to detail and strong communication (written & verbal).
- Excellent grooming and personal presentation.
- Full permanent Working Rights in Australia.
