What's on offer?
We are currently seeking a Weighbridge/Mill Operator to join our team in Lara. Reporting to the Production Manager, the key focus of this role is to ensure the safe and compliant receival of raw materials and premixes, monitor and control production of the finished products and the feed is efficiently packed and labelled. This will initially be an afternoon shift position with flexibility of hours depending on operational requirements and may transition to a rotating shift in the future if required.

The Role
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Inventory reconciliation and reporting
- Stocktaking as required.
- Operating a raw material receival computerised production line.
- Ensure at all times that the plant and equipment meets specified standards is in safe working condition.
- All Raw Material testing requirements are completed as per Ridley receivals testing procedures.
- S4 allocation and premix addition are accurate and reconciled.
- Any other responsibilities and/or Authorities as specifically designated by Site Manager or Delegate.
- Identify and report non-conformances as per Ridley process
- Unloading transport vehicles including finished feed, raw materials, premix and additives as per Ridley receival standards.
You will have
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Understanding of site HACCP Plan
- Understanding of site safety Policies and Procedures
- Sound knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation.
- Sound computing skills.
- Current Forklift driver licence (desirable)
- Cert 4 competitive systems (desirable)
- 5+years manufacturing experience (desirable)
