• The Maroota site is located in the scenic North-Western outskirts of Sydney, CSF Proteins is a division of Ridley, processing poultry and fish by-products to manufacture protein and oil-based products.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role is responsible for performing maintenance, servicing and modifications of plant and equipment.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Maintain the work place and apply good housekeeping procedures
• Breakdown repairs
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Electrical repairs
• Replacing electrical equipment
• Certifying electrical equipment and repairs
• Electrical maintenance of pumps and irrigation
• Ensuring JSA's are of high standard and are adhered to and task is stopped if something changes.
• Strong communication skills to relay issues and handovers with both other maintenance staff and production staff and management
• Inspection and reporting of plant and equipment and record keeping to ensure sites CMMS is kept up to date
• Comply with relevant OHS/WHS as per Ridley's policies and Procedures
• Participate in Safety, Quality & Environment training initiatives.

Key skills required for this role include:　

• Trade qualifications required with demonstrated experience
• Must be licensed A Grade
• Must have worked in manufacturing environment
• Able to start immediately
• Professional attitude towards work
• Ability to work as an individual and also cooperatively as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Sound computing skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit
