Status: Permanent Full-Time (35 hours per week)

Salary: $104,949 to $120,692 per annum + 11.5% superannuation

       

Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Arts & Culture Team (Economic Development and Placemaking) is seeking an Arts Programs Lead.

 

Purpose:

The Arts Programs Lead is part of a small and robust team, working to cement Randwick Council as a dynamic creative leader. Joining during a period of growth and transformation, the Arts Programs Lead supports the development and delivery of diverse creative programs, spaces and initiatives in alignment with Council’s Arts & Culture Strategy.

 

About the role:

  • Develop and deliver innovative arts programs, exhibitions and events which reflect the cultural identity and needs of the community. Programs should be in alignment with models of best practice and industry standards.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary creative access to diverse Council-owned spaces and regularly seek ways to strengthen models of creative access.
  • Strengthen local sector capacity through information sharing, community building, creative networking, and program design and delivery.

 

About you:

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment for arts and cultural programming.
  • Expertise in planning, delivering and evaluating arts programs and events.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
