About the role:
The ICT Applications Support Analyst plays a critical role in providing technical support and maintenance for Opal HealthCare’s suite of software applications and information systems used in aged care service delivery, administration, and operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of ICT applications, resolving user issues, and implementing enhancements to support the organisation's strategic objectives. This is a full time permanent opportunity.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, Epic Certification) are advantageous.
- Proven experience in application support, software administration, or systems analysis roles, preferably within the healthcare or aged care sector.
- Strong technical proficiency in troubleshooting application issues, with knowledge of database systems, SQL queries, and programming/scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems (e.g., clinical information systems, electronic medical records) and aged care management software is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and translate technical concepts into layman's terms.
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support services and continuous improvement initiatives.
