Full time permanent opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our team in the Sydney CBD.

About the role:

Join our team as a Senior Payroll Officer and play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing during this maternity leave cover. This role is perfect for someone with strong Dayforce expertise and experience managing end-to-end payroll in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Emplive would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce using Dayforce.
• Ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements, modern awards, and payroll legislation.
• Managing payroll queries and providing expert guidance to employees and managers.
• Processing terminations, leave calculations, and payroll adjustments.
• Reconciling payroll data and ensuring accurate reporting.
• Collaborating with HR, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Supporting system improvements and process enhancements.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or Senior Payroll Officer in a complex environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Dayforce (essential).
• Familiarity with Emplive (advantageous).
• Up-to-date understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
