About the role:
Join our team as a Senior Payroll Officer and play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing during this maternity leave cover. This role is perfect for someone with strong Dayforce expertise and experience managing end-to-end payroll in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Emplive would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce using Dayforce.
- Ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements, modern awards, and payroll legislation.
- Managing payroll queries and providing expert guidance to employees and managers.
- Processing terminations, leave calculations, and payroll adjustments.
- Reconciling payroll data and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Collaborating with HR, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Supporting system improvements and process enhancements.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or Senior Payroll Officer in a complex environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Dayforce (essential).
- Familiarity with Emplive (advantageous).
- Up-to-date understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
