About the Role
The Data Analyst plays a key role in partnering with business units to understand and document reporting requirements, ensuring the delivery of accurate and impactful reports and dashboards. This role is responsible for developing visualisations using Power BI and/or Tableau, performing QA testing on data workflows and reporting systems, and collaborating with data engineers to validate and maintain data quality. The position ensures that reporting solutions are aligned with organisational needs, supporting data-driven decision-making across the business.

Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
- Proven experience with Tableau and/or Power BI for data visualisation.
- Proficiency in MS SQL and strong SQL query writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop functional specifications and deliver reports.
- Experience in developing and implementing data quality control procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must have at least 2 years of commercial experience
- Must be in Sydney and able to work in a hybrid model
