About the role:
Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) is home to world-class aquatic facilities that are accessible to everyone at any level.  Our Swim School programs, inclusive of Learn to Swim and School Swimming lessons, provide a rewarding, inclusive and all-abilities pathway for students aged 3months to Adults.
As a result of increased demand we now seek an enthusiastic and experienced Learn to Swim Supervisor.  Reporting to the Swim School Team Leader, the Learn to Swim Supervisor is a critical role within our team, assisting teachers with class management as well as maintaining constant communication with parents and carers.  

Keys responsibilities Include: 

  • Customer communication and parent/guardian feedback
  • Attendance reporting and class management
  • Assessment of students for progression and continuous feedback
  • Pool deck set up and pack up
  • Teacher check in and development feedback
  • Incident response and first aid assistance
  • Additional administration tasks as required

Required skills:

  • Austswim - Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent
  • CPR
  • First Aid 
  • Working with Children Check
  • Austswim - Teacher of Infant and Preschool or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Teacher of Competitive Strokes or equivalent
  • Teacher of Aquatics- Access and Inclusion or equivalent
