The Role

Our onsite café and restaurant located inside Classic Residences retirement village in Brighton East is looking for a Food & Beverage Attendant on a casual basis! 

Reporting the Restaurant Manager, your duties will include:

• Serve food and drinks promptly and with a friendly warm attitude 
• Opening and closing of café/restaurant 
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction 
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining and bar areas
• Preparation and serving of drinks 
• Providing exceptional customer service to residents and their guests
• Cash handling 

The shifts:

Casual role – approx. 3-5 shifts per week 

• Monday to Friday 9AM-3PM or 5PM -9PM
• Saturday and Sunday 9AM-3PM 

About You

• Proven experience in a similar role
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
• Barista experience – Desirable 
• Punctual, reliable 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a genuine interest in interacting with and serving seniors 
• Excellent hygiene and safety standards
• A current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
