The Role
The Baytree by Ardency is a premium retirement Resort located in Greenwich that has paved the way for a unique retirement experience which combines the very best in independent living with the premium amenities you would expect from a boutique hotel.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Food & Beverage Services Attendant to join our dynamic team on a permanent part time basis, working 4 hours per day. No weekend work!

 

The successful candidate will be required to assist in various areas of the restaurant, having a hands-on approach in front of house operations.

 

Reporting to the Resort Manager, you will be tasked undertaking a variety of duties and responsibilities including:

  • Working with the kitchen team to ensure a high standard of service is provided within the restaurant to residents and guests
  • Taking restaurant bookings and orders
  • Recommending dishes and delivering food
  • Preparation and setting up for meal service
  • Assisting with meal & beverage service
  • Basic plating of meals
  • Responding to resident enquiries
  • Cleaning and washing up of dishes and cutlery
  • Accepting payments
  • Assisting kitchen staff as needed
  • Ensuring that a premium level of customer service is provided to our residents in every interaction.

 

Shifts:

  • Monday: 9am – 1pm 
  • Tuesday: 10am – 2pm
  • Wednesday: 10am – 2pm 
  • Thursday: 10am – 2pm
  • Friday: 10am – 2pm

 

There is flexibility around the times stated above, however hours need to be similar.

 

About You

You will ideally have a background in hospitality or customer service, with specific experience working within the food and beverage space. The successful candidate will also require the following:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be extremely well presented and reliable
  • Have a friendly and customer-focused approach, with a can-do and proactive attitude
  • To have a passion for resident engagement, with the ability to exceed customer expectations
  • To have a current First Aid and CPR certificates, or be willing to obtain
  • Have a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, or be willing to obtain
  • Barista skills, ideal but not essential
