Buderim Gardens is set amongst rainforest and luscious parklands, a short walk from Mooloolaba Beach, this coastal community offers quality facilities and a vibrant, relaxing and supportive village atmosphere. 

 

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused Bus Driver to join our team at Buderim Gardens. The successful candidate will be working on a part-time basis, 3 days a week (24 hours per week). The shifts would be:

  • Monday – 5:30AM – 1:30 PM
  • Thursday – 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Friday – 7:30AM – 3:30 PM

 

In this role you will provide safe transportation of our Village residents to local shopping centres and return them at the end of their outing. You will also perform other ad-hoc duties as required, such as taking the vehicle for servicing and maintenance checks as required by Village Management.

 

Who You Are

To be successful in your application, you must have:

  • Light Rigid (or above) licence with a good driving record;
  • Experience driving a small bus/people mover, including with a trailer;
  • Experience working with elderly people, and the awareness of mobility/health and safety issues that may occur;
  • Team-focused, with willingness to perform other ad-hoc duties when required;
  • Ability to identify when bus requires maintenance; and
  • Level 2 First Aid certificate (Desirable).

 

Relevant internal training and inductions will be provided to the successful candidate.
