About The Role: 

Ingenia is recruiting an experienced PowerBI reporting Developer to work in our office in either Brisbane or Sydney.  This role will work across a range of high-profile data initiatives and will see you exposed to a range of business units and stakeholders. 

 

We are looking for a PowerBI expert who has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Someone who can understand business requirements from non-technical stakeholders and can build a range of analytical solutions to help Ingenia inform critical strategic decisions. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  •  
    • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, focusing on data analysis and visualization to provide actionable business intelligence  
    • Build complex database queries to extract and present actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making
    • Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and ensure effective communication of technical concepts  
    • Uphold data governance, data quality, and master data management standards for reliable and accurate information
    • Manage tasks and larger workstreams, adhering to timelines and ensuring successful outcomes

      

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • At least 8 years’ experience working in technically proficient reporting roles 
  • Strong Experience in Power BI (DAX) and presenting complex data in easy-to-understand formats essential 
  • Skills with Power Apps/SharePoint highly desirable 
  • Excellent SQL skills with the ability to build complex database queries to extract relevant data for analysis 
  • Good knowledge and experience with SAAS environments, data architecture 
  • Technical acumen across core SQL, Data Warehousing (Snowflake), Advanced Analytics and Data Visualization desired 
  • Comfortable and experienced in large, complex end-user environments
    • Continuous improvement mindset and focus on automation
    • Exhibit proficiency in Power BI, SharePoint, JIRA, and CRM, contributing to seamless data integration
    • Familiarity with ADF, Purview, Blob Storage, and ETL procedures is a plus, enhancing data management capabilities Develop and maintain documentation regarding business requirements, reports, processes and change management tasks
