The Location

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly & professional amenity cleaner to join our Bonny Hills Holiday Park. This position is casual, with the potential for additional hours to be picked up during peak periods.

Responsibilities 

  • Ensure all appliances are clean and in working order
  • Ensure all common areas are kept in a clean and tidy state
  • Any other duties as assigned by management
  • Check for and remove any rubbish; empty bins if required
  • Attend to emergencies and escalate to management if required
  • Sweep, bleach, scrub and mop the floors of common areas
  • Wipe and clean all benches and tables
  • Empty bins and clean bins as necessary
  • Restock hand towels, tea towels, scorers and washing liquid
  • Clean all toilets and toilet facilities, including restocking amenities, cleanings mirrors and floors
  • Clean shower cubicles in amenities facilities daily
  • Review amenities store room and advise office employees of any required chemicals and supplies that need to be ordered

 

About You

 

  • Practical experience / work history in a cleaning role
  • Well organised and a strong eye for detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate with all departments
  • Ability to make decisions and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Confident and able to raise any concerns to management or another department 
  • Positive and enthusiastic

 

Physical Requirements 

 

  • Frequent lifting of rubbish bins, cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Use of broom, mop, vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment
  • Repetitive use of muscular force, bending, twisting and stretching when carry out cleaning tasks
  • Frequent walking around the site
  • Use of cleaning products and chemicals
  • Use of PPE such as rubber gloves and facemasks
