About the Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for the role of National Operations Manager, Food & Beverage to drive profit performance while overseeing the amazing team. This role will include expanding the food and beverage offering, budget management, key supplier negotiations and legislative requirements in the portfolio.
This role will be a combination of being based in our beautiful office in Hamilton, Brisbane and travelling to our current portfolio of 7 F&B outlets in desirable locations along the Eastern Seaboard.
The main duties include:

Day to day management of all F&B assets including overseeing menu planning and WHS

Manage and maintain daily audit, end of day, and end of month processes

Conduct on site audits across legislative compliance requirements (liquor licence, gaming, fire/electrical and food safety)

Lead by example – support, coach, motivate and engage the team to be high performers and reach company and team goals

Provide regular and constructive feedback to your team and facilitate team communication

Carry out performance management, counselling and action of direct reports when performance falls short of requirements

Responsible for workforce planning, including identification and preparation of successors
About the Person:

Proven experience in a similar multi-site role and/or industry, and experience as a chef and front of house operations management

Understanding of budgets and effective cost control

Knowledge of HACCP and an understanding of how it relates to Food Safety Programs
