About the Role
During a time of exciting transformation, there is an opportunity for a Treatment Room Team Leader to join our busy practice in Bunbury. This practice caters to its community and patients with a wide array of onsite services.
In this role you conduct a range of clinical duties including health assessments and immunisations, assist the Practice Manager with rostering, recruitment and managing treatment room staff performance.
Key responsibilities
- A Treatment Room Team Leader manages the provision of services within a Medical Centre's treatment room and assists Health Care Professionals
- They conduct a range of clinical duties with direction from treating HCPs including; pathology collection, vaccinations, monitoring of ECG, wound dressings, change of linen, clean and sterilise equipment
- The Treatment Room Team Leader will build relationships to create patient ease prior to procedures or treatments
- They Triage patients and assist HCPs in procedures
- The Treatment Room Team Leader will assist PM with rostering, recruitment and managing treatment room staff performance.
- They Liaise with PM and Treatment Room employees to ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are known and followed.
About You
- You will be a Registered Nurse with prior experience in General Practice or an Acute setting; previous experience leading a successful team will be highly regarded, though we will support you with further development if required
- You will be passionate about health care and improving the lives of those in our community.
- You will play a key role in our medical centre team and evolving business, with the initiative to made decisions and work independently when required.
- You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with patients and colleagues both in person and via clinical communication systems.
- Have unrestricted Australian work rights and to supply evidence of your vaccination history and immunity.
