About the role

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, this role will see you partner with our People and Culture team and the business to deliver learning and development initiatives across all aspects of the employee experience.  You will lead our company induction day, on-boarding activities, and support employee development and capability uplift initiatives to meet Avant’s evolving business needs.

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide advice and support to the people leaders of our organisation across learning and development
  • Be the driver of learning and development initiatives that engage and develop the capability of our people
  • Provide administrative and coordination support in the delivery of learning and development programs
  • Lead our Induction and onboarding program
  • Work with external service providers and manage vendor relationships
  • Be the champion for our learning management system

Sills and experience required:

  • Previous demonstrated working experience in learning and development, background in instructional design
  • Previous experience administering a learning management system
  • Experience working with a HRIS and e-learning software
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills, with an ability to consult and advise on how to best address individual and team-based learning needs
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • A passion for people and driving initiatives that make a difference
  • Completed relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources, training and assessment or equivalent
