Payroll Officer - Program Management Operations & Payroll NSW

An opportunity is available for a Payroll Office to join our People&Culture team for a 6 month contract.

The key responsibilities include: 

• Support the delivery of accurate and timely preparation of monthly payroll for circa 1000 employees, ensuring compliance with respect to legislation and regulations. 
• Support the accuracy and completion of calculation, State/Territory Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation renewals and wage declarations.   
• Liaise with People & Culture to ensure payroll is in accordance with individual employment agreements and modern Awards. 
• Maintaining confidentiality of payroll data with respect to privacy legislation. 
• Provide employees with accurate and timely advice regarding payroll related matters. 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Minimum three (3) years payroll experience.  
• End to end payroll experience.  
• Well-versed in a handling payroll for a sophisticated workforce.  
• Experience in processing terminations and redundancies.
• Strong experience dealing with Leave accruals/ Long Service leave
