About the Role

We are seeking a Risk Analyst – Data and Reporting to join our Governance, Risk & Resilience (GR&R) team. This role is pivotal in supporting risk management capabilities, providing expert data analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


You’ll work closely with various stakeholders to enhance risk monitoring, reporting, and training while leveraging tools like Protecht (GRC system) and Power BI to deliver actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:

 

Risk Reporting & Insights: Prepare and present risk reports for committees, providing accurate data analysis and key insights to inform decision-making.
Risk Monitoring & Compliance: Support ongoing risk monitoring and ensure regulatory reporting compliance using Protecht and Power BI.
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal teams to understand their risk environments, facilitate the Risk Champions Forum, and coordinate the GR&R work plan.
Training & Process Documentation: Design and deliver risk training programs while maintaining up-to-date documentation on risk tools and processes.
Continuous Learning & Development: Stay ahead of regulatory changes and professional development opportunities in risk, compliance, and data analytics.

About You:

 

Analytical & Data-Driven: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to extract, cleanse, and analyse complex datasets to provide meaningful insights.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and business intelligence tools. Experience in dashboard reporting and data modelling is a plus.
Risk & Compliance Awareness: Basic understanding of risk management principles and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of APRA and ASIC regulations is desirable.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively across various business units, manage expectations, and present insights effectively.
Curiosity & Growth Mindset: Enthusiastic about learning new concepts, exploring data insights, and contributing to a proactive risk culture.
