About our role:
An opportunity is available for a Procurement Manager to join our Sydney team in a permanent, full-time role. The role will provide the business with support and guidance to develop the supplier management strategy and framework workingclosely with numerous business unit teams in a cross-functional and collaborative capacity.
The key responsibilities include:
• Development and execution of effective and efficient Procurement Strategies that deliver value.
• Support supplier contract & commercial negotiations
• Support the business to uplift their supplier management oversight.
• Support Avant Group uplift the end-to-end procurement process aligning to APRA Standard CPS230.
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Between 5 and 10 years of experience working in procurement.
• Tertiary qualifications in business/commerce, finance/accounting, engineering, IT, Procurement or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in the financial services industry.
• Strategic and business acumen.
• Commitment to outstanding client service.
