The program


The Hands On Volunteer role is a voluntary position aimed at assisting and improving the self-esteem and quality of life for frail aged clients by providing personal hand care and regular social contact.

 

The opportunity 

  • To administer the Hands On Service to clients in a structured and approved Red Cross Hands On Program.
  • To treat all client related information with respect and confidentiality.
  • To be committed, reliable and attend the program on a regular basis.
  • To keep the hand care kit and all items clean.
  • To monitor stock and have stock replaced as needed

An interest in providing humanitarian service and to work within the fundamental principles of Red Cross. 

Application requirements


For this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check, which will be organised through Red Cross.
