About us
Every purchase at our shops supports Australian Red Cross teams helping people as they overcome hardship, crisis and disaster here at home and across the Asia Pacific. Right now, we are in need of an experienced retail sales assistant who has a passion for fashion and has flexibility to support the store in peak times and leave coverage.
About the role
Supported by the Shop Manager, you will help drive sales and reach targets as well as increasing donations and volunteer applications. You will be responsible for processing all sales through POS/cash register/eftpos accurately and in line with retail policy as well as maintaining visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
What you will bring

Previous experience in a face to face customer service, retail or sales position with exceptional customer engagement skills

Previous cash handling skills and stock rotation experience

Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
-
Proven reliability and punctuality with a positive can-do attitude.

A passion for vintage fashion and/or recycled goods would be highly advantageous

This role is covered by the General Retail and Wholesale award 2010 - Level 3. Salary from $26.66 hourly + superannuation + casual loading + weekend rates + access to salary packaging.
