Immediate Housing Response Program
The Immediate Housing Response program responds to the challenges faced by the housing market and homelessness specialist accommodation providers in the economic climate. The program aims to provide case management support alongside immediate crisis accommodation support for singles and couples experiencing homelessness within a client led-case management model.
About the role
In this role, you will work at the Hub, and other Red Cross Homelessness and Housing Services to provide assessment and referral support alongside streamlined case management to individuals and families. You will operate from a strength based and capacity building framework to ensure the promotion of social inclusion, human rights, participation, and to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
What you will bring
- Sound casework/ case management experience including holistic assessment of client needs and development of case plans
- Experience in collaborating with marginalised people in the community
- Experience in collaborating competently with staff and clients from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds with respect and humility
- Proven ability to provide high quality, specialist casework support and case management
- Application of knowledge, skills, and experience in a variety of client practice approaches and frameworks
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
Mandatory requirements for this role
- A valid Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- A current Australian Driver Licence

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 4. Salary from $85,145.84 FTE + superannuation + salary packaging.
