About the role
Community Programs provide support for people to build and maintain social connection, create sustainable independence, and work confidence through the Youth Development Hub.
The Support Worker supports participants to engage in Barista and Retail streams to build their work confidence, skills and pathways that strengthens ties to community and reduces the impact of social isolation.
About you
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with vulnerable individuals and / or families in a community services organisation or similar setting
- Ability to work under general supervision, autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver outputs within specified time frames
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people with from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to resolve conflict and work-related problems by exercising judgement and initiative within defined policies and practices

Further information
This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 3. Salary from $73,823.36 FTE + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
