About the role

The Manager role is responsible for the management of multiple projects including the project design, budget management and reporting. The Manager will provide leadership to State & Territory (S&T) teams to maintain consistency in service delivery of key migration related programs. This role is responsible for establishing operational procedures, ensuring compliance with policy and procedures, and coordinating specialised project or program support.


About you

  • Well-developed cultural competence skills and the ability to operate under limited direction from senior employees and work with and lead teams of people from diverse backgrounds. 
  • Substantial experience in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Strong analytical, planning, budgeting, financial management and reporting skills and demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Substantial understanding of issues affecting people impacted by migration, and their vulnerabilities, needs and strengths.
  • Substantial knowledge of relevant legislative, policies and frameworks and proven ability to manage risks.

A Working with Children Check is a mandatory requirement for this role.
