About the role
The Support Officer – Emergency Services (ES) State & Territory (S&T) contributes to our strategic impact of supporting communities to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters. The focus of the role may be across one or more areas of emergency services work including operational requirements, project work, volunteer engagement and community development work.
What you will bring
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project plans. Undertake project-related tasks
- Ensure effective data collection, and monitoring and evaluation of relevant project activities to achieve strategic impact. Support consistent reporting data quality and analysis. Manage record keeping of critical documentation including decision and risk logs and knowledge base materials
- Work to ensure compliance with Red Cross policy and relevant legislation to deliver on the effective management of project/s
- Support Emergency Services personnel to participate in engagement activities with local community groups, agencies and committees, seeking ways to ensure connection between local volunteers and Red Cross Emergency Services programs
- Provide administrative and logistics support as required
- A current Working With Children’s Check is mandatory

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award – Level 3. Salary from $73,823.36 FTE + superannuation + salary packaging.
