About the role

The Specialist - HRIS Instructional Writer role will play a key role in the successful implementation roll-out of PeopleHub Phase 2 by creating clear, engaging, and user-friendly documentation.

This role is responsible for developing comprehensive process maps and user guides across six critical HR functions: Workforce Management, Payroll, Compensation, Performance Management, Succession Planning and the Mobile Application.

Working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME), system implementation partners, and business stakeholders, the Instructional Writer ensures all materials support and promote user adoption, operational efficiency, and assist with effective knowledge transfer.

What you will bring
•    Sound analytical skills
•    Payroll experience with the ability to interpret complex Award Interpretation (part of Workforce Management) and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
•    Proven ability to build strong customer and client relationships, delivering customer-centric solutions.
•    Proactive approach, taking ownership and identifying solutions rather than waiting for others to take the lead.
•    Strong focus on continuous improvement, with the ability to identify and implement the most effective and efficient processes.
•    Capacity to operate with limited direction from senior employees, working collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds to foster a supportive working environment.
•    High level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
•    Demonstrated technical knowledge in Human Resource Management, HR systems, payroll regulations, and Industrial Award compliance.
•    High level organisational and time management skills.
