About the role
The Immediate Housing Relief for singles and couples (IHR) program responds to the challenges faced by the housing market and homelessness specialist accommodation providers in the economic climate. The program aims to provide case management support alongside immediate crisis accommodation support for singles and couples experiencing homelessness within a client led-case management model.
What you will bring
- Sound casework/ case management experience including holistic assessment of client needs and development of case plans
- Experience in working with marginalised people in the community
- Experience in working competently with staff and clients from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds with respect and humility
- Proven ability to provide high quality, specialist casework support and case management
- Application of knowledge, skills and experience in a variety of client practice approaches and frameworks
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
- A current Working with Children check (Blue Card)

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 4. Salary from $85,145.84 + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
