Purpose
As Talent & Culture Manager in a Shared Services environment, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our most valuable assets - our people. Serving as the eyes and ears on the ground, your guidance will be invaluable in supporting management across a diverse portfolio of properties, with a dedicated emphasis on nurturing, growing and retaining our exceptional talent. As part of a dynamic network of like-minded Talent & Culture experts, you will support each other and collaborate seamlessly with our centralised support services team, a powerhouse that encompasses administrative support, talent acquisition, and workers' compensation experts.
The Role
- Full-time, fixed-term position is available until August 2025 and is based in Sydney

Primary Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary issues providing guidance and advisory support to management at property
- Conduct and offer guidance on performance reviews, oversee training initiatives, and assume responsibility for fostering high-performing talent within the region
- Plan, execute, and facilitate training programs and drive proactive recruitment and retention strategies for the region
- Offer strategic support to our injury management team regarding Workers Compensation claims (without direct claim management involvement)
- Assist with recruiting and selecting key operational positions within the region
- Organise and coordinate reward and recognition events and activities across your portfolio, collaborating with operational stakeholders
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a Human Resources advisory or business partner role, with a preference for prior experience in the Hospitality or Tourism sector
- Demonstrated ability to foster relationships across all levels of the organisation
- An inclination toward collaborative problem solving to achieve desired outcomes
- Demonstrated expertise in recruitment, workplace relations, occupational health and safety, and legislative compliance
- Self-reliant, demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, meticulousness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Exceptional organisational skills and an unwavering focus on detail
