Purpose

As the Finance Manager, you will be an essential member of the Accor Shared Services team, playing a key role in accounting, reporting and business partnering for a cluster of properties within the Accor Apartments & Realty portfolio. In addition, the role will provide management, support and development for a number of finance team members

 

This position is ideal for a highly competent Finance Manager, Assistant Financial Controller or Management Accountant that is seeking to work in a dynamic environment whilst advancing their career.

 

Primary Responsibilities                                                        

  • Partner with property General Managers to provide financial guidance and facilitate overall financial growth
  • Manage, support and develop a tight knit finance team
  • Review internal controls to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate the monthly P&L preparation, review and variance analysis
  • Prepare, communicate and review monthly/annual forecasts and budgets
  • Prepare, review and manage balance sheets
  • Coordinate and manage Interim and End of year audits
  • Coordinate End of Year FBT review & reporting
  • Support Area/Regional Finance Manager in daily/annual requirements when required

 

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and/or Finance or Commerce
  • CA or CPA qualifications is a plus
  • Proven track record and strong understanding of management accounting
  • Strong leadership in addition to attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills across a wide-range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure within tight time frames
  • A can do attitude
