History Teacher (Westport)

Start date: ASAP or Term 2 

OneSchool Global is a global network of schools spanning over 20 countries, offering an advanced, self-directed learning model. 

In this position, you will be required to teach history to Y11, 12 and 13 students. At One School Global we teach NCEA so previous experience with the NCEA curriculum is required. It is also an advantage to also be able to teach junior social studies.

Qualifications and experience:

• Current registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand
• Expertise in teaching at the secondary level, with flexibility across at least 1 other subject
• Strong commitment to student success and innovative teaching practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with self-directed learning models and technology driven learning
• Strong digital skills with the ability to teach through multiple mediums
• Tertiary degree in relevant field.
